The House
Quinta House
Beside the ruins of the historic Paço de Grejufe, once the estate’s noble residence, the Quinta House was originally home to the caretakers who tended the land through generations. Carefully restored, it is now Quinta de Grejufe’s main guest accommodation, preserving the simplicity of its rural architecture and the memory of the place while offering contemporary comfort. Nearby, the ruins of the old Paço remain as a quiet testament to centuries of Quinta de Grejufe’s history.
The Vineyards
A terroir made for Loureiro
The estate lies in the Vale do Lima, inside the Vinhos Verdes demarcated region. The vines are worked with integrated production, with the greatest possible respect for the ecosystem that surrounds them.
The Gardens
Wisteria, water and shade
Vine and wisteria pergolas perfume the paths. There is a central courtyard, the kitchen garden, the orchard, the trees and the animals that set the rhythm of the day.
The Valley
Serra Amarela on the horizon
The valley opens towards the Serra Amarela and the beginning of the Peneda-Gerês National Park. The river Lima below, the hills, the silence, and the sun setting behind the olive grove and the village church tower.
Heritage
The baptismal font of the former Chapel of Santo António
The baptismal font preserves the memory of the former Chapel of Santo António, once located beside the main house at Quinta de Grejufe.

The coat of arms stone of Quinta de Grejufe
This imposing coat of arms stone of Quinta de Grejufe bears the arms of the Brandão, Furtado, Mendonça and Correia families. Originally placed in the Chapel of Santo António at Quinta de Grejufe, it is associated with Captain Valentim Brandão Soares, who commissioned the chapel in 1730. Carved in granite, its quartered shield records the lineages that crossed through the history of Quinta de Grejufe. Valentim Brandão Soares died at Quinta de Grejufe on 31 March 1745 and was buried in the chapel; his funeral rites included an office celebrated by fifty priests. The stone remains an important witness to the history and memory of Quinta de Grejufe.
